"YOU CAN'T BEAT AVERO"

Avero is a mobile application that calculates the shortest distance from two selected points. This app is developed by RACV (Royal Automobile Club of Victoria) and is exclusively for Victorian residents in Australia.

In order to promote this app, my team launched a media campaign called: "You can't beat Arevo". The idea of the campaign is to showcase how quick and easy Arevo is to use, as well as the speed at which a person can reach their destination - even faster than those they’d expect to arrive on the scene first.

TVC SCRIPT

HERO 90 SEC TVC - SAVING DOG

We open on Keanu Reeves sitting in the pub, drinking his favourite wine, his eyes are sticking to the bottle. The news is broadcasted on the TV, right above his head to the left. We see a group of buglers is raiding a mansion.

Reporter: Breaking news, a group of intruders is invading a mansion.

Keanu looks at the TV screen, we can see that he looks stunned.

We get into Keanu’s imagination, the buglers see his dog, and one of them kills it.

We can hear the reporter says that the police are on their way. Keanu leaves the money on the table, opens the app Arevo, stands up and leaves the pub.

We can see the police driving through the traffic at full speed, informing each other about the situation.

Now we are inside a train, we can tell that Keanu’s face shows no worries.

Back to the police, they make a turn at the junctions and then drive through an alley.

We are at a bus stop, Keanu gets off the bus. He moves walking slowly in the direction that leads to his house.

The police move to their formation, encircle the mansion. The chief officer receives a megaphone from an officer, he demands the intruders to surrender.

Chief Officer: The house is being surrounded, you have 2 minutes to ...

We can see the door opens, Keanu Reeves is holding his dog in his arm, he has captured all the intruders and made them kneel down in line.

Keanu Reeves: It is all right guys.

Now we can see Keanu sitting on the sidewalk playing with his dog, the police are cleaning the scene in the background.

From a high angle shot, we see Keanu takes out the phone and leaves it next to him.

A close shot helps us see on the phone is the Arevo app.

VO: All the journey planning tools you need in one simple app.

Next to Keanu's phone, we see an icon for each of Arevo's functions appearing on the screen before animating out for the next. As this happens, the VO continues.

VO: When you've got somewhere you need to be, you can't beat Arevo.

The icons are replaced by the Arevo logo and our tagline.

Super: You can't beat AREVO.
